About Us
StuccoLux is independently owned and managed by Lloyd Millar based in Bovey Tracey, Devon.
My mission is to make your house a beautiful, efficient, eco-friendly and practical living space through traditional and decoartive plastering techniques.
My inspiration to become a plasterer really came from my Dad, who I have worked with on many projects. He is a former fibrous plasterer and HPS property services.
In 2012 I started level 1&2 NVQ plasterwork at South Devon College. I came first place in regional heats in a skill build plastering completion.
Timeline
In 2018 I completed a course with Mike Wye & Associates on natural polished plasters such as venetian plaster and tadelakt that can be used in wet rooms as an alternative to tiles.
In 2019 I went to the Netherlands to learn new methods and discover new tools and materials to enhance my skills as a plasterer and what I experienced has given me many ideas and taught me new ways of making my work easier on my body whilst elevating the quality and cleanliness of my services. I can’t wait to revisit my friends in holland and learn more and look forward to new courses on new products to offer my customers.
Today, I have completed many projects by myself for my own customers and with each new projects learn new skills.
