Here are some projects that Stuccolux has previously worked on;

Paignton, Private House - Re-plastering Hallway & Landing

Bovey Tracey, Private House - Modern Plaster

Fireplace has been opened up from a small open fire, rendered with extra lime to prevent cracking on the inside and painted. It has also been patched around and made square, and then skimmed.

 

Hawkmoor, Chapel - Plaster boarding & finish

Some work from a recent job in a converted chapel. We insulated and vapour barrier the ceiling before plaster boarding and Plastering it. We then painted both the ceiling and walls. It will be nice and warm, quiet and light for our customers (who were lovely and made great bacon sandwiches 😉).

 

Ashburton, Private House - Tadelakt

First tadelakt job started. This unique waterproof finish can come in many different colours and is a great alternative to tiles with low maintenance and no grout to clean. Sinks, tables and other products will also be made soon!

 

Brixton, Private House - Modern Plaster

Lots of hacking off old plaster this morning. Large and deep chasings to fill and blending new gypsum plaster into old wavey lime plaster was fun. All around brand new kitchen units in Brixton 😱. Sometimes the smallest looking jobs can be the most fiddly and awkward.

 

Maidencombe, Swimming Pool - Waterproofing Plaster

A pool we have just finished rendering. Hard work in this heat but such a nice place to work and something a bit different! We used a strong mix of sand cement with water/weather proofing agents and Plasticisers and brought it out to a finish ready for a liner to go on. Going to be a great place to enjoy the rest of this sun!

 

Bovey Tracey, Dartmoor Whisky Distillery - Fibrous Plaster Mouldings

A recent fibrous plaster mouldings job we did for Dartmoor Whisky Distillery! All hand made and fitted around the windows to match the original mouldings in there.
